A Canadian entrepreneur, and business leader Martin Williams is the Co-Founder, President and Chief Innovation Officer for Above Food Corp.
Martin has over 20 years of consumer-packaged goods experience, having held diverse leadership roles throughout his career, including: founder, operator, commercial lead, marketing lead, and innovation lead.
Having lived and worked in several of the world’s fastest growing markets including Hong Kong, and New York, Martin has a unique global perspective that informs everything he does.
For the 12 years prior to co-founding Above Food, he was a management consultant and advisor to blue chip CPG companies on Innovation, Change Management, and Go-to-Market strategy.
Martin held various leadership roles at global Innovation Strategy firms, Fahrenheit 212 in New York, and Idea Couture, which was acquired by Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ: CTSH) in 2016. Notable clients include: Campbell's Soup Co., Coca-Cola, Conagra Brands, Kroger, Mars, Molson Coors, and PepsiCo.
He attended OCAD University in Toronto, where he studied Industrial Design, with a specialization in Applied Innovation.
When not creating the future of plant-based foods, Martin can be found training for Triathlons in hopes to be an age-grouper at Kona one day.
