Jeremy Burks is Executive Vice President at Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients, a pioneer of plant proteins and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients.
Building on his extensive international experience and his forward-looking approach, Jeremy drives the company’s efforts to unlock the potential of nature to offer the best ingredients for the food, nutrition and health markets and leads the global growth strategy of the group in pharmaceutical solutions and plant proteins.
Jeremy is directly responsible for the plant proteins business unit that strives to be the best partner for customers seeking to launch successfully in new gastronomy and the current food revolution.
Before joining Roquette in early 2015, Jeremy held a number of senior leadership positions during a 27 year career at Dow Corning Corporation, including President Greater China Region, Global Business Unit Vice President and Vice President of Sales. Jeremy has been based in the UK, Belgium, Korea, China and now France. Jeremy has also been active externally, notably as Chairman of the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (China) and on the Board of Governors for AmCham Shanghai (China) as well as being a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.
Jeremy was also recently appointed as a Non-Executive Director for a London Stock Exchange-listed company operating in the food sector.
Born in the UK, Jeremy graduated with a degree in Materials Science from Brunel University and subsequently obtained a Diploma in Management Studies from the Open Business School, UK.
